Light is the only subject.
For ten years the studio has worked in black and white — chasing a moment, stopping a stranger for a portrait, climbing for the right weather. Fashion and architecture are the main areas, though every commission is treated as its own small piece of work.

One subject
Every frame begins and ends with light. Working only in black and white keeps the attention there — on form, contrast and the moment, not the colour of it.

Made close
Most pictures are made a step nearer than feels comfortable. A portrait is a small act of trust; we try to be worth it, and to keep the camera quiet.

Built to last
Each project is treated as its own piece of work — printed, archived and made to outlive the brief. Commissions, editorial and personal series, here or anywhere.
