Lumen Studio is a monochrome photography practice working between editorial, portrait and personal projects. We make a photograph only when it stops us for a second longer than we expected — then we hold that second still.

For ten years the studio has worked in black and white — chasing a moment, stopping a stranger for a portrait, climbing for the right weather. Fashion and architecture are the main areas, though every commission is treated as its own small piece of work.
