Closing the gender data gap

You can't fund what you can't see — the case for better data on women and girls.

This is evocative, fictional body copy standing in for an essay or data story. It would open with the argument, then lay out the evidence behind it — charts, field notes, a grantee's voice.

It would sit with the uncomfortable parts too: what we got wrong, what we're still unsure about, and why we're publishing it anyway.

And it would close with what changes next — for us, for our partners, and for the people this is all supposed to serve.
